This is as nice of a Mopar as you will find!
Must sell my 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite two-door hardtop. It has a numbers-match 383 ci 1-4bbl V8 dual exhaust 330 horsepower engine. This is an absolutely beautiful car. It is Galen Govier certified, and I have all the original paperwork, including the certificate of verification signed by Galen himself.
I am the third owner of this car. It has been professionally restored with a phenomenal factory specs paint job, the orignial engine has been gone over front to back and drives like a dream. The interior is in great condition and is the original white leather. This car is dead straight.
The pictures don’t lie, you won’t be disappointed if you are looking for an extremely solid, great quality Mopar.

Buyer are required – To do their own research to verify the researched codes above are correct.
Paint-
* Paint is very shiny, and matches well all the way around, as the car was painted all at the same time.
* We didn't see any scratches in the paint or notice any nicks in the paint.
* Paint was finished and delivered to owner in the spring of 2015
* Painter told owner it does have a clear coat finish as well.
* If you stand back twenty feet or more it looks great, but upon getting closer you will notice that it does have some areas on the sides where the paint did not flow out as smoothly as the top surfaces, and it does have some orange peel present.
* The repaint would not be considered top dollar professional workmanship.
* There are some pin head size imperfections and foreign matter here and there, but is hardly noticeable. (especially outside)
Body-
* The fits of the doors, hood, and trunk look to be fairly uniform, and as correct as you would expect to see them.
* Being extremely critical the front edge of the trunk could be adjusted slightly left. (see pictures)
* The top surfaces are nice and straight with just a couple dimples on the roof and slight deviation on the hood. (almost unnoticeable)
* The sides are not laser straight, you will see evidence of not perfect with straightening and blocking of the body, and some waviness does show up at close inspection. (look closely at side pictures going down the car)
Magnets-
* In going over the painted portions of the car, the paint appears to be pretty consistent 10 to 14 mils of paint. This means they exercised good judgment in getting a good even repaint.
* We randomly tested with the magnetic paint gauge paying close attention to the areas (in the picture before restoration) that showed where rust repairs were made.
* Good quality replacement front fenders were used and the bottom portions of the quarters were repaired. Keeping that in mind with our readings, we did not find any places that we didn’t detect any metal in the reconstruction.
* Owner had viewed the body when the new metal panels had been installed during the restoration.
* Owner believes all the red painted area body repairs were made with steel.
* Partial floor pans had already been installed (prior to purchase) and filler was used on the inside of the lower rear quarters. (can be seen in the pictures)
Bright Work-
* The bright work around the window areas is all very nicely secured, and is very shiny and polished. Its very impressive in its design and condition. Over all it shows very well with only a few dimples. (see pictures)
* There is some light pitting on the door handles, mirror, and vent frame which is very common.
* The rocker moldings are both very shiny and look secured properly with no damage showing.
* The rear bumper and taillights have pitting and wear, the front bumper is shinier with less wear showing but is pushed back a little on the left corner.
Glass-
* All six panels of glass on the sides and rear glass have the safe guard logo.
* The windshield was replaced new this year.
* The glass over all is in really nice condition.
* Glass is nice and clear without discoloring, delamination, bull-eyes, cracks, or wiper marks.
* On the front edge of the passenger roll up window there are several light scratches running from top to bottom on the very front edge, about one inch back. (see photo)
Interior-
* The headliner is all intact with stitching that all seems to be held together with a little bit of wrinkling around interior lights.
*The visors were indicated by the owner to be fairly new, as they are good and solid with good covering.
*The door panels and interior side panels are all in good condition with some age showing, yet all intact.
*Drivers door arm rest is missing and the seller will provide information on were it might obtained.
*The owner indicated he had new seats and covers installed, as well as all new foam and carpet (with new backing).
* The old style air conditioning dash hang unit is in the car and you can see the counsel had to be modified to accommodate it, there is no plumbing, condenser, or compressor (for the air conditioning) included in this sale.
* The kick panels have not been reinstalled in the car, but you can see in the pictures I have laid them up were they go so you can see they are the correct ones.
* The gauges are all intact and do show some wear as does the dash panel. The top of the dash does not show any damage.
Trunk-
* The trunk is very nicely finished off with a fit mat on the floor without any rust perforation showing.
Tires and Wheels-
* The finish on the wheels looks like almost brand new.
* They are very reflective and polished, and I do not see any damage to them.
Left Front- P225- 60-15 10/32 Right Front- P225-60-15 10/32
Left Rear- P245-60-15 10/32 Right Rear- P245-60-15 10/32
* On the spacers and nuts you will see a little light pitting.
* The tires don’t show any cracking or curb damage, and over all they are a very attractive addition to the car.
Engine and Transmission-
* The engine compartment does not look like its been modified(for the most part) or redesigned from when it was built.
* There is a nice contrast with the paint on the engine and the blacked area of the inner fender wells
* Aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, adds a very nice look to the engine compartment.
* Hood does have new insulation installed.
Chassis-
*Looking close at the pictures is the best way to understand the bottom side.
*There was a drip noticeable in the photos from the transmission, but that is being fixed professionally by the owner.
*Looking at the pictures you will be able to see the rear end has normal seepage.
*The engine area has some dampness along the front.
*The front floor pans have been replaced (but not fully welded) as well as some repair at the bottom of the rear quarters.
Mechanical-
* Headlights work high and low beam
* Tail lights work both sides
* Left and Right rear blinkers work
* Temperature gauge, fuel gauge, alternator gauge are all working
* Clock does not work
* The components for the speedometer and odometer seem to be hooked up but not registering at this time. (no knowledge of what the issue might be)
* The blower motor is working on various speeds
* There are no hoses going to the heater core so we have no knowledge of what will work(owner didn't need heat)
* AM/FM Radio works
* Tachometer working
* Courtesy lights on the console work as well as rear lamps
* Parking brake works and holds fine
* The passenger and drivers window crank operates as it should
* No front blinkers
* One back up light works
* Title says exceed mechanical limits
Test Drive-
Chad rode with the owner to go have the car put on a rack and upon returning, Chad drove the car for several miles. The car appeared to steer correctly and drove straight down the road without any issues. Upon applying the brakes it stops very smooth without pulsation in the brakes or pulling left or right. Upon accelerating it up shifted correctly and down shifted, as we made various stops and starts. It is a very smooth and easy car to drive.
In the photographs you will see the two tires and parts that are included in the sale. You will also see in those pictures a copy of the body guide and an interior book, as well as various photographs of an original Satellite that he has printed out for future reference.
